“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything” Aaron Siskind
I use this quote on my home page of my website, not just because I love it, but because it beautifully captures my philosophy behind why I photograph the way I do. Lifestyle photography is about capturing real life, the little things that we forget in the business of life.
And this young family wanted just that. This is their beautiful life, right now, at this incredible point in their journey.
It often occurs to me that couples often spend a whole day with their photographer capturing every incredible detail of their wedding day to remember for years so come. Why would you not want to do the same for this equally important time of your life. As a mother myself, I can’t help but think “Yes Please”.
