Twins.  I know, I look at these two and am thinking exactly the same as you.  But who know what the gene pool does.  I look at my own children and wonder where the curly haired, blue eyed one came from - but she is definately ours I can assure you.

So these two gorgeous girls are big sisters now.  Big sisters to this little one.  Three perfectly beautiful little girls.

for the first time, I have completely missed my Mine on Monday blog post  :-(  I had a weekend so full, I simply could not fit another thing in.  From driving up to Sydney and back on Saturday, to my very first Matildas Markets on Sunday, there was very little time for me.  On the topic of Matildas Markets, I just wanted to say thankyou to everybody that stopped by to say hello.  I had such a blast, and I was just sooo happy that my images were so well received - it really means the world to me.

So on to these two, well what can I say.  I simply adored photographing them, and I can still here their infectious giggles.    How could they not be gorgeous with such a sweet and caring and gorgeous mum.

and winter is creeping in now.   The nights are chilly and the leaves are rapidly turning and falling.    I simply love photographing at this time of the year -  the air seems so much clearer, and the light is definately softer.   Tomorrow I am heading north for the week to attend the Inspireme Worshop - I can’t wait, but it has been frantic for me trying to prepare to get out the door tomorrow morning.  At some stage I need to pack.

So without further adue, I want to show this gorgeous family a little sneak peek of their session.  Baby Asher is just 8 weeks of age, and her big brother Cameron, 2.  Cameron reminded me so much of my Harriet in so many ways - so gorgeously independent.

I still can’t believe we are having these gorgeous warm days.  They say in Canberra that heaters shouldn’t be turned on until Anzac Day.  Well it is Anzac Day Long Weekend this weekend, and I have to admit that I can never brave it out this long without some form of heating on (usually the ducted heating by now).  Well, I have actually got the airconditioning on today, the kids are off swimming, and our school holidays have been spent outside having water fights and getting soaked.

This particular Sunday was no different, warm and positively quite balmy.  I met Rob and Tessica at their house in Uriarra, about 30 kms out of Canberra - one of the many areas that were devistated by the 2003 bushfires.  My husband rides past Uriarra just about every week, and has seen the gradual rebuilding process.  I, on the other hand, was amazed to see the settlement competely rebuilt, with the occasional original homed scattered inbetween the new buildings.

It was lovely to meet you both and your gorgeous children.

I hope you enjoy your preview, I will have your online gallery up shortly (tomorrow).

beautiful little girls that seemed to love being in front of the camera.  Ummm, particularly little Miss I, who jumped in front of the camera at every opportunity - awesome, I love it, she was right there with me till the end, full of energy.

So the brief was some long grass shots.  Something I have been wanting to do forever, but long grass shots in Australia in the middle of summer come with their hazards [in the form of snakes].  SO we scoped out a gorgeous area, made heaps of noise, stamped our feet and cleared the area.  Infact, I think it would have been highly unlikely that any snake would have been game to come within a mile of our chosen location.

I really hope you enjoy your preview - here are some of my favourites from the session.

So it’s Christmas Eve, and the impending arrival of Nana is almost too much too bare.  It marks the start of the celebrations, the excitement is just around the corner.  This moment has not been without it’s dramas, infact the world was about to end yesterday when the Santa stockings couldn’t be found anywhere.  It’s hot outside, and we can all feeling the summer storm brewing, I am just about to brave the markets in 35 degrees heat to pick up the whole salmon, and the party begins.

Here is the scene on the front steps - no pressure Nana.

Shortly, I will have a glass of champagne in hand, knowing that I have delivered all Christmas orders safely into the hands of my lovely clients, and I can now turn my full energies to Christmas fun.  And on the topic of my lovely clients, I just want to thankyou all for your patience over this frantic Christmas period, and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Over the next week, we will be moving back into our newly renovated home - a labour of love.   I may be a little hard to reach as we go through this process, but I hope to have my new office set up at the beginning of the new year.  I can’t tell you how excited I am - beyond excited actually.

So to all of you - MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND A SAFE AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.

Now off to get that champagne.

These three gorgeous boys were so full of life, and so full of energy.  Not even an afternoon of 34 degrees could slow them down, phew it was warm.   We ran through the forest, or rather the boys did, and I did my best to keep up.  We hunted for pixies, rode bikes, blew bubbles, flew paper aeroplanes, and I got a little insite into the busy world of this lovely family.  To Catherine and Luke, thankyou for a lovely afternoon.

Now I simply love the little storyboard.

Pure perfection.  This is 2 week old baby Amalie.  She is the 3rd child, with 2 very cool older sisters, the eldest of which is extremely cool in the eyes of my son.  This just happens to be the newest little sister my son’s best friend, Veronique.

Wow, this little bubba was one of the most settled newborns I have ever photographed.  She just slept, it makes my job way too easy.  Isn’t she just perfect with that little bottom lip.

Congratulations Craig and Cinaron.

You may recognise perhaps two of these beautiful children, they grace the  splash page of my website - ummmm, that was 18 months ago now.  Here is the previous session I did and look how much they have grown, in particular baby Lily.

And to Andrew and Karen, thankyou again for the opportunity to photograph your family, you make my job so easy.

I am a tad excited, just a tad.  Tomorrow I am heading north to attend the “inspireme” workshop, where I will get the opportunity to mix and mingle with some amazing photographers.  I will have a day with Nichole Van, a day with Zack Arias, and a day with Joey L, also assisting with tuition are Andrea joki, and Leah Profancik.

Sooooo, need I say more - I am off to try and get a little sleep.

Oh, before I go, this gorgeous little girl below belongs to a friend of mine, and an awe inspiring photographer, Sheila Higgins.
