Seriously, I am still spinning from Liana Hall’s (nee Lehman) Business Bootcamp.  Words cannot express how much have appreciated this kick start to my business.

Over the first two days, we covered a huge amount of business know how to the point of a headache, and then if that wasn’t enough, we covered some more to the point where I just couldn’t fit anymore in. I met some awesome Canberra Photographers, and Photographers from further afar, and together we nutted things out - kinda :-)  On the third day, we were treated - A photoshoot.  I just wanted to thank the awesome Kelly Tunney for firstly hosting this awesome workshop, and secondly organising this sensational couple.  I also want to thank Christine Pobke for making this all happen - you know you seriously rock.

Christmas is looming, and I wonder where the year has gone.  Life has been positively frantic as I endevour to finish off the Christmas rush of photographic sessions, amidst the multitude of parties and end of year celebrations.

This beautiful wedding was the last wedding for the year for me and where do I begin.  Perhaps a few words to describe their day - beautiful, full of fun, family, affection, and lots of love (and also phew, hot), yes Canberra turned on a beautiful but hot and balmy day for this lovely couple.

Thankyou for the honour of photographing your wedding Anita and Brian, your spirits are infectious, and I truely wish you both a life time of happiness.

I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

You may recognise Judith from from this session I did a while back with her two gorgeous children.  Well I felt truely honoured to be asked again to photograph her wedding, a beautiful intimate occasion, located on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin.

Both Judith and Nathan were married surrounded by their children, all five of them now.  Surrounded by the most amazing people, surrounded by beauty, surrounded by love, and overwhelmed with happiness.  I simply cannot of think of any couple more deserving of this kind of happiness.

I had such a blast photographing these two, their connection is amazing, and never a serious moment.

So starting at their house, because I know just how much effort went into setting up their dining room like this.

Photographing this couple’s wedding was such a privilege.  I was beyond excited to make my way up to the beautiful country town of Bathurst to spend the day photographing Bianca and Gav’s day.  I sincerely thankyou both for welcoming me into your family, and including me in your celebrations.  I also had the absolute pleasure of having a second shooter and not just any second shooter, non other than the wonderful Penny Smith, of Toffee Apple Kids Photography.

What a perfect day, we were blessed with the most magnificient weather, and Bathurst was looking so green from the recent rains.  The day was filled with laughter, fun and lots of tears, but I think that it truely relected the fun loving spirit of this couple.  Congratulations Bianca and Gavin, and I wish you all the best for a lifetime of happiness together.

Both Penny and I were running around this paddock trying to make the best of the beautiful light, when poor old Penny stepped on a huge cow pooh up to her knee.

Now I know this was not funny - IT WAS HYSTERICAL.  Awww sorry Penny, but look at the images I managed to snap in between tears of laughter.

And I cannot finish this post without saying thankyou to my lovely friend Jennifer Stocks, Bathurst’s finest photgrapher - I had such an awesome time.

As I awoke on the morning of the 29th of August, I looked out of my window across to the Brindabellas - storm clouds.  Fast forward to the wedding, and the rain just tumbled from the sky.  I just cannot imagine anything phasing this gorgeous couple though, this truely was a beautiful day no matter what the elements had in store. To both Fiona and Pierre, I just want to take this opportunity to thank you both for being so relaxed and laid back.  I wish you and your gorgeous family,  all the best for a lifetime of happiness together.

I hope you enjoy your preview.

The rain stopped for about half an hour, which gave us a window of opportunity to get outside.   Again, thankyou for humouring me with this idea but I think that the results were worth it, this image is one of my favourites of the day.

There is a reason that I have been missing in action and it is because my life has been turned up-side-down recently.  We are currently renovating our house, and I had hoped that it wouldn’t interupt our lives too much, but I was wrong.  We are currently living out of suit-cases, living in limbo until we can move back into our home again.  I had also hoped that our renovations would not interupt my business too much, but I was also wrong.

Unfortunately I am unable to take on any new clients at the moment, until I have my office back - I am hoping that this will be no longer than 6 to 8 weeks, but i will most definately keep you informed.

I have a number of weddings locked in over the next couple of weeks, and these clients will receive my full attention.

On the subject of weddings, I often get asked “Do you shoot wedding?”   The answer is Yes, however I only take on a handfull.  I simply adore shooting weddings, wow, I love capturing that raw emotion.  This aspect of my business is one that I do not advertise simply because I want to keep it small and intimate - just a little boutique.  Again, I do not adverise my prices, they are priced individually, and on application only.

Below is a sample of the products I offer.   This is a coffee table style book, a beautiful modern alternative to an album and a superb way of presenting my documentary approach to weddings.
