I am a tad excited, just a tad.  Tomorrow I am heading north to attend the “inspireme” workshop, where I will get the opportunity to mix and mingle with some amazing photographers.  I will have a day with Nichole Van, a day with Zack Arias, and a day with Joey L, also assisting with tuition are Andrea joki, and Leah Profancik.

Sooooo, need I say more - I am off to try and get a little sleep.

Oh, before I go, this gorgeous little girl below belongs to a friend of mine, and an awe inspiring photographer, Sheila Higgins.

Happy birthday Harriet, happy birthday my beautiful big girl, who is no longer a baby and hasn’t really been a baby for sometime now - but she will always be a baby to me.

She never walks, she dances and pirouettes, she sings at the top of her voice, she makes up wonderful stories, she loves handbags, shoes and makeup, she wants to be a princess when she grows up, she pretends and lives in a world only limited by her imagination.  She is growing just too qucikly, oh how I am going to miss that wonderful 4 year old logic.

Last weekend, I had a blast at the PMA in Sydney.  Not only did I get the opportunity to see the latest photography related products and camera gear, but I also got the change to hang out with AMAZING photographers from all over Australia, and that is exactly what I did.  It’s crazy I know, but it’s my idea of a totally awesome weekend - to just hang out, and talk photography, and learn, and talk more and take photographs, and talk more and I just learned so much.

In between the PMA, I stayed with my wonderful family and met my cousins baby girl for the first time.  Now I know that when it comes to family, I am incredibly biased, but isn’t she just perfect.  She rolled for the first time right in front of the camera.
