Hot Air Ballooning [Canberra Family Photographer]

Hot Air Ballooning [Canberra Family Photographer]
I photographed this family for the first time, Autumn last year.   Their story is one of love and courage as they have battled through challenges and come out the other side shining. One of my most favourite things about my job, is opportunity to spend time with families, and  I am grateful for the opportunity that I have to connect with people, and to share their [...]

Time for Change [Canberra Children’s Photographer]

Time for Change [Canberra Children's Photographer]
The times are a changing, and so is Robyn Geering Photography, with some simple but stunning packaging and presentation. I really want to give my client's something unique, something beautiful to keep. After months and months of searching, I found these beautiful wooden boxes, that I feel represent my work perfectly. Top that off with a bit of letter press goodnes[...]

Family [Canberra Portrait Photographer]

Family [Canberra Portrait Photographer]
I love photographing families.   Editing these images just makes me smile.  Looking at their beautiful faces, knowing all of the hopes and dreams their Mum and Dad have for them.   I can almost hear the giggles as I edit, it makes me grin from ear to ear.  I guess this is what being a family photographer is all about isn't it.

My children spend hours flicking through our wedding album, and now after 15 years, the corners are  dog eared, but still so very loved.  It was a magical day, and the memories are captured there for us in all of their 90's glory.  Consider the detail wedding photographers provide during their coverage of your amazing day.  Imagine if you could have the same level of [...]

Darcy Padilla - The Julie Project [Canberra Family Photographer]
I am really enjoying sharing a little of my inspiration with you.  You can see my first Inspiration post here. I have just shared a handful of images below of "The Julie Project" by Darcy Padilla.  You simply must grab a cup of tea, and sit down to read this story in full here.  I saw this a couple of years ago now, and then watched it again recently with my teenag[...]

The Outback [Canberra Portrait Photographer]

The Outback [Canberra Portrait Photographer]
Since THIS post, I have decided that life is way too short not to live it.  Travelling is something that I have always loved, and we as a family have always loved, and amongst the hectic pace, we will take time out to do.  I don't mean travelling for work, I mean travelling for pleasure, I mean taking time out to really experience, for these experiences are what help [...]

Real Food [Canberra Food Photographer]

Real Food [Canberra Food Photographer]
Over the last 18 months, we have been on the long and windy journey of trying to get to the bottom of why my 8 ear old daughter Harriet, has constant stomach pain (amongst other symptoms).  The journey has taken us from GP, to Paediatrician, to Dietician, to Endocrinologist, and some fairly full on drugs have been on offer.  Along this journey, we have found out a lot[...]

These two little girls, well they just get cuter and cuter and cheekier and cheekier and that is what I love about them.  Here they are 21 months ago, and wow, they were just babies here.

"Like all photographers, I depend on serendipity, and when you’re photographing children there’s often an abundance of it. I would have an idea of what a photograph would look like and then something would happen—a dog might lumber in and become a critical element. I pray for what might be referred to as the angel of chance. " Sally Mann About 10 years ago, one of [...]

Mine [Canberra Children’s Photographer]

Mine [Canberra Children's Photographer]
Just a few snaps of my babies, well, they are not really babies anymore.  I really can't believe how quickly time has gone by.   I remember people telling me to enjoy the moment, cause before you know it, you will be waving good-bye.  Like many of us, I shrugged this off, but now, I can really understand what this means.  I do, however, just love love love having teen[...]
